The Japan Water Research Center (JWRC) was established as a public foundation to improve waterworks technology in Japan through O&M.
In 1988, the Japan Pipe Systems Research Center was established, and then renamed JWRC after merging with the Japan Water Treatment Process Association.
As a non-profit public organization, JWRC has assessed and developed new water supply technologies such as membrane filtration through joint O&M projects with water utilities, universities, research institutions and private companies.
JWRC provides various information through seminars and symposiums, aiming at passing on finer water supply systems to the next generation. Also, we are committed to finding solutions to domestic waterworks issues such as how to practice better O&M of water facilities.
