In July 2015, the Japan Water Research Center and the Kobe Waterworks Bureau co-hosted the 10th International Symposium on Water Supply Technology in Kobe, Japan, under the theme of "Innovative Water Supply Systems in the Age of Change and Uncertainty". The conference attracted over 800 delegates from 63 countries and the co-located exhibition counted thousands of attendees with booth exhibits from 41 private companies and other water-related organizations.
